THE PYRAMIDS
Standing still, silent and mysterious on the Giza Plateau
in Egypt are three mighty pyramids and six smaller ones all representing
the Pharaoh that lies inside and acting as figureheads of the most mysterious
and magnificent period of time in ancient history. Over three dozen King?s
pyramids stand along the mighty Nile?s west banks- from the cataracts in
Upper Egypt to it?s delta in Lower Egypt. Little knowledge has been known
of these over the centuries but as archaeologists and Egyptologists come
to uncover their secrets, they find one puzzle after another.
Over the years, a French and Japanese team have both claimed
to have evidence that there are other chambers in the Great Pyramid of
Giza, unopened since the days of Khufu himself over 4,000 years ago. What
secrets might these chambers reveal? Will they help us understand the great
civilization of ancient Egypt?
